Restoration Update

It's been one amazing journey for these three. What started as a contribution for the Fandom for Domie has turned into one of my favorite stories. Thank you to Domie for giving me the plot bunny to play with. But, the Renovations Trilogy is now complete. They all got their happily ever after ... ;-)

“Why am I out with you buying Kate’s wedding ring? I though you two weren’t getting married until next summer,” Bella grumbled, waddling in the jewelry store. She was massaging her back. It had been hurting since she woke up this morning. “Garrett, talk to me.”

“Shit,” Garrett grumbled, turning to look at his best friend’s heavily pregnant wife. “Pretty girl, you should probably sit down.”

“If I sit down, I won’t be able to get up. Spill it, mister,” Bella griped, glaring at Garrett.

“So, Kate got sick about two months ago. She had to go on antibiotics. And well, um, antibiotics made her birth control not work,” Garrett said, his ears turning a bright red. “She’s six weeks pregnant. We’re getting married in Lake Tahoe on New Year’s Eve. I wanted to fly to Vegas, but Kate still wanted a ceremony and her family there. She hasn’t told them about the baby since her dad would probably castrate me with a rusty spork, but she’ll be small enough to hide her baby bump. You know? Kind of like you and Edward.”

“You could tell I was pregnant, you moron,” Bella snorted.

“Now, you can,” Garrett snickered, putting his hand on her very swollen belly. “At your wedding, it was barely noticeable.” She harrumphed.

Edward carried Bella into the back bathroom. She was quiet, happy that they had forgiven her but still incredibly sad that she had behaved so rashly six weeks ago. Placing her on the countertop, Edward cupped her face. “Talk to me, love,” he whispered. “You seem upset.”

“I’m sorry,” she said, looking up at him. “I know you said you forgive me, but I can’t apologize enough for what I did …”

“Please don’t,” Edward said, his voice stern. “No more apologies, baby. From now on, we are only looking forward. Not backward. The beginning of our relationship is quite unique, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love you so much, Bella. Even when you broke up with both of us, my heart shattered, but I loved you. I still love you.”

“I didn’t want to walk away,” she said, her eyes brimming with tears. “I was just so scared. My fear made me walk away even though I loved you more than I have loved anyone in my entire life.” She hopped off the counter and unzipped her dress. She slid the dress off her body, revealing her naked form. Her arms were crossed over her breasts. “After I went out to lunch with Marcus and spoke with Garrett, I made an appointment with a tattoo artist. This was the first one I got done.” She held up her wrist. Moving her body, angling it to Edward, she lowered her arms to show a beautiful black tattoo under her left breast. It was the first few lines of E.E. Cumming’s poem, “I carry your heart”. Surrounding the wording were two sparrows and some floral accents. “I got this because it described how I felt about you and the birds, the sparrows, they are picky on who they mate with but they mate for life. Even if you told me to fuck off, I knew that I would always, irrevocably be yours. I’m your sparrow and I hoped that you would be mine.”

Under Construction Chapter 20 Update on TWCS

Edward and Garrett were finally starting on the Banner’s renovation for their kitchen. They needed the distraction of a new project. They hadn’t heard from Bella in over a week. No phone calls. No texts. No sexy emails. Nothing. Edward naively believed that she was swamped with work from that adoption. Garrett had an inkling that she was back but avoiding them. Something happened after they left. Something bad. Something very bad that obviously caused her to rethink their relationship.

“Stop looking at your phone, douche,” Garrett snapped. “We’ve got to take these measurements.”

“I thought I felt it vibrate,” Edward said, smiling sadly at his friend. “It did, but it was just an email.”

“From Bella?” Garrett asked.

“No. Mrs. Cope. She’s wondering when we’re coming back,” Edward shrugged, shoving the phone back into his pocket. “Daniel is handling her well, but the Banner’s house is a bigger project.” They worked quietly, only speaking to bark out measurements. “Do you think that Bella doesn’t want us?”

“I don’t know, Ed,” Garrett muttered. “Something must have happened that totally spooked her.”

Edward bit back tears. “I miss her so much, Garrett,” he said thickly. “What if she …”

“We’re better off without her,” Garrett said coldly. “We were her playthings and if she can drop us like that than she’s not worth our trouble.”

“You don’t mean that,” Edward growled. “We were not her playthings. We shared something very special.”

FYI ~ I will be posting an extended summary of the third installment, Restoration, on Sunday. It will begin posting on Wednesday, so you will not have to wait long for the continuation of the Renovations trilogy. Keep your eyes peeled!

Renovations Update and COMPLETE!

Renovations Chapter Nineteen Update on FFn

Monday morning dawned too quickly. Bella showered with both Edward and Garrett, her heart full but her mind reeling. She had opened her heart, and instead of giving it to one man, she gave it to two. Each of them were her ideal. Edward was her rock, sweet and attentive, showering her love and affection. Garrett was her fun, adventure and lust. He made her feel sexy and a bit dirty, in the best of ways, of course. His dominating persona made her quiver. Though, she was more emotionally attracted to Edward. Bella was confused, wanting both of them, but also wanting to see how a relationship with them, individually, would work out.

It can’t, Bella. Could it?

She couldn’t choose. She didn’t want to choose.

Well, she could. Her heart belonged to Edward, mostly. He was the polar opposite of James and Garrett.

After their shower, Bella asked for some time to get ready. Garrett kissed her neck before shuffling to the former oyster bathroom. Edward gently cupped her chin, his eyes radiating with love, before he pressed his mouth to hers. With a smile, he left, and Bella clutched the edge of the counter. This weekend had been a roller coaster of emotions, most of them good. Though, for a consummate planner like Bella, this situation was unreal.

Were they just catering to a divorcée because she spread her legs?

Was this their bonus for a job well done?

Did they really want to be with her? Or were their words from last night just like her wedding vows? Empty promises?

Did she want a relationship with both? Garrett was so much like James, it frightened her.

Did she want Edward exclusively?

Did she want Garrett exclusively?

What was their future, and did she want a future with both of them?

Do you want more? I know you do! There is a SECOND installment, Under Construction. It will start posting on January 1st, following the same update schedule, Wednesdays and Sundays. OR you can donate for the Fandom 4 Disaster Relief to read Under Construction.  Follow my Renovations blog for teasers and sneak previews for Under Construction. It’s just as pervy as this one!  And as always, leave me some lovin!
